JOEY n RACHEL ... are very excited to announce that they will be bringing another installment of their series of RECOVERY and HOPE. In November, for the first , they will be age specific with a Teen Mental Health Awareness Group. This session will include more yoga and mediation than our events have in the past with a focus on introducing these practices to young people with demonstrative benefits. Rachel n Joey will share their life stories with the teens to illustrate that suffering can be stooped and introducing tools they have used in order to do that. The session will start at 3pm and run till 6pm . No cost.
On November 14th, Rachel will be visiting the Grade 6, 7 & 8's of Heximer Elementary School to share her experience of anxiety and suffering from an Eating Disorder. Teaching the youth Yoga, Rachel will discuss the many alternatives to isolation and the resources to help find happiness again!

Yoga Therapist, Rachel Rogers completed her Combined Undergraduate Degree in Psychology & Women's Studies after her own long-time struggle with mental health created a desire in Rachel to see others' find HOPE and Happiness again.
With over 20 years experience in Yoga and a rich background in working with mental health, Rachel offers her own niche of combining Psychology with the Spiritual, Ancient Practice of Yoga & Meditation.
Rachel teaches DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) Skills which include; Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Skills and Mindfulness in conjunction with Spiritual Ceremonies and Practices to reduce stress and find your way back home to yourself~
Yoga Therapy is done on a one-on-one basis for 8 weeks. Each week is $40.
